All the products of our EMILIA BUTCHERY are prepared fresh on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Shipments are made only on Wednesday and Thursday of each week by refrigerated van at a constant temperature between 0° and 4° C. At the moment the shipment is possible ONLY in ITALY.
Legend has it that the nomadic tribe of the Tartars would place a portion of raw beef under the saddles of their horses. This way, the movement of the animal and rider would eventually tenderise the steak. We believe that this is how “steak tartare” originated. Others are convinced that this delicious dish originated in France. What we do know is that our beef Tartàre steak is a pleasure for your eyes and taste buds.
The steak itself is easy to prepare but choosing the right meat is not that simple, as it must be of prime quality: leave it to us! You can pair it with onions, sauces, or a mix of your favourite aromas. That’s up to you! Your dish will be as good as the one you eat at the restaurant with the traditional egg yolk.
Cooking: Transfer the raw meat to a large bowl and season with lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper. Gently mix to blend the ingredients. With the help of a pastry cutter, arrange the tartare on four serving plates. Decorate with a sprig of rosemary and lemon wedges. Serve immediately and enjoy your meal!
